It's a MEETING! Not a "Search Party!"
You need to start your AI writing sessions by setting the agenda.
Think of your AI writing sessions as a “Meeting” with a partner / assistant / collaborator. It’s a conversation with an agenda:
Tell the AI what you’d like to work on today: Reviewing work you’ve done. Brainstorming a scene or a character. Doing research. Etc.
Offer context. Do you want it to reference a conversation you’ve already had? A document you’ve uploaded? A new idea you’re thinking about?
Ask the AI: “Before we begin, what else can I provide to you that will help you do this with me?”
Ask the AI: “Do you have capabilities that can help me do this job that we should use in this session?”
Keep it Simple. Before you begin the whole process, ask: “Is this too complex? Should we break this down into steps?”
Whenever you introduce a new topic, end your prompt with “Before you respond, you can ask me (5? More? Less?) questions that will help you give me a better answer.” I guarantee you, at least ONE of those questions will introduce an idea you hadn’t thought of.
Tell it what’s NOT on the table in this session. You don’t want a rewrite. You don’t want to explore new genres. You don’t want to “overcomplicate” this. (I’m looking at you, Claude!)
Your LLMs are not a search engine! If you aren’t iterating and conversing, you’re using your LLMs all wrong.

I referred a friend, got the email with the Virtual Writer’s Guide PDF. When I try and download it says the link is broken. Actually this is exactly what is says when I click on the link: "error":"unable to find post hosting file, given fileKey","type":"single"}
I would suggest fixing and then resending to everyone.
